Wraith Wing

The Wraith Wing is an Advanced Guild VTOL that appears as a World Event in BO7 Endgame. It is an aerial boss encounter that takes place in Zone III or Zone IV.

Overview

The Wraith Wing is a heavily armored VTOL aircraft deployed by The Guild. Unlike the standard VTOL Hunt activity, the Wraith Wing is a full World Event with significantly more health, stronger attacks, and better rewards.

Mechanics

The encounter has multiple stages. First, players must hack laptops at objectives around the area. After all laptops are hacked, the Wraith Wing emerges and the aerial fight begins.

Once all laptops are hacked, the Wraith Wing VTOL emerges and becomes targetable.

The Wraith Wing is an aerial target, meaning players need clear sightlines and sustained fire to deal damage. Key considerations:

Positioning is critical. The VTOL moves across the engagement area and players need to track it while avoiding ground enemies that spawn during the fight.

Sustained fire is required due to the Wraith Wing’s large health pool. Weapons with high sustained DPS like the ION/XR3 with Sharpshooter are effective.

Ground enemies spawn throughout the encounter. Clearing them while maintaining damage on the Wraith Wing is part of the challenge.

Caution

The Wraith Wing can spawn in Zone III or Zone IV. A Combat Rating of 30 or higher is recommended for Zone III, and 45 or higher for Zone IV. The Wraith Wing can be soloed with the right loadout, especially with a launcher or a strong exotic weapon. Bringing a squad makes it faster and safer.

Rewards

Completing the Wraith Wing World Event rewards high-tier loot scaled to the zone it spawns in (Zone III or Zone IV). Like other World Events, the rewards are among the best available in a single activity.
