Nightmare Skills

Nightmare Skills are a special category of Skill Track. Similar to Exotic Skills, they offer more powerful and distinctive effects than standard skill tracks. Only one Nightmare Skill can be equipped per operator at a time.

Nightmare Skills are awarded by completing a Glitch Fracture. Glitch Fractures become accessible after eliminating a Guild Strike Boss. The Fracture location is highlighted on the map after the boss is defeated, and all squad members are transported into the activity on interaction.

Glitch Fractures use spaces from the main campaign and present multiple objectives in escalating difficulty. Completing the Fracture triggers an immediate exfil and grants the operator a random Nightmare Skill.

Once revealed, Glitch Fractures remain on the map and can be replayed in subsequent matches.

Each Nightmare Skill can be upgraded twice after it is earned. Fully upgrading a skill adds 3 CR to the operator’s Combat Rating. Upgrades are applied at the Skill Track screen.

After the explosion, gain full ammo and temporarily infinite ammo from the magazine.

Enemies hit by Chaos Rounds have a chance to trigger a random effect on nearby enemies.

Wingman Unit
