Prime Target

Prime Target is the Act 4 Glitch Fracture, added in Season 4 Reloaded and unlocked by completing Operation King Killer. Like the other Fractures, it uses a campaign space and ends in a boss encounter, the Prime Target Glitch Boss. Defeating it completes the final step of Operation King Killer.

  1. Complete Operation King Killer up to its final step.
  2. Defeat a Guild Strike boss in the same match to reveal the Fracture on the Tac Map.

The Prime Target Glitch Fracture appears on the Tac Map as a Nightmare-tier activity with a recommended Combat Rating of 60. Its card reads “Step into the Glitch and stop the corruption for a chance to earn rewards.”

The encounter runs across three Glitch Waves, each on a timer. In each wave the boss appears under a different glitch designation (HZRD-666, X9-HELLCORE, D3M-ON).

During at least one wave the boss becomes immune. To break the immunity you must secure zones, filling the current zone’s capture meter before you can damage the boss again.

The final wave returns to a straight damage race against the clock. Defeating the boss here completes the encounter.
