Guild Strikes
Guild Strikes are an Activity type in Endgame. They task players with eliminating a Guild Strike Boss that has appeared at a specific location on Avalon. Two Guild Strikes occur per match, both at the same timer mark. Completing a Guild Strike reveals a Glitch Fracture on the tac map, activates a Nightmare Zone, and spawns an Exotic Fabricator for participating players.
How Guild Strikes work
Section titled “How Guild Strikes work”Both Guild Strikes in a match trigger at the 45:15 timer mark. At that point, the bosses spawn at their fixed locations and the activity becomes available to all players in the match.
- The first Guild Strike always spawns at the Winery and produces O.S.C.A.R.
- The second Guild Strike spawns at a fixed set of locations elsewhere on the map. The boss will be either Sualk Rebu or the Shadow Overlord depending on the match.
- Players must clear surrounding enemies and then damage the boss to complete the activity.
- After the boss is defeated, an Exotic Fabricator spawns at the location. You must have participated in the fight to use it.
- A Glitch Fracture location is revealed on the tac map after completion. See Glitch Fracture.
Boss variants
Section titled “Boss variants”O.S.C.A.R. is the Guild Strike boss that spawns at the Winery at 45:15 every match. The name is an acronym. It is a large mechanical enemy and one of the more frequently discussed bosses in the community, primarily because of its fixed spawn location and weekly farming potential.
Combat behavior: O.S.C.A.R. is a robotic unit. It is classified as a Guild enemy rather than Cradle, making it resistant to standard Cradle-focused damage strategies. Its attacks are mechanical and projectile-based.
Community notes on defeating O.S.C.A.R.:
- Sharpshooter (utility bonus) is effective against O.S.C.A.R. because it makes all upper torso hits count as crits, even on bosses that lack a marked crit spot.
- Players with lower Combat Ratings should avoid engaging until they are closer to CR 30 or above for a safe fight.
Respawn behavior: O.S.C.A.R. originally respawned every 10 minutes after defeat, allowing multiple Exotic Fabricator uses per match. This was removed in the Season 3 Reloaded patch due to a health bar UI bug. O.S.C.A.R. now spawns once per game.
Sualk Rebu is the Endgame name for the Uber Klaus enemy from the Zombies mode. “Sualk Rebu” is “Uber Klaus” written backwards. It is a two-phase boss fight: an armored exoskeleton phase followed by the ejected core.
Shadow Overlord is the Endgame appearance of Caltheris, a Shadowsmith character from the Zombies maps Astra Malorum and Paradox Junction. She spawns as a Guild Strike boss when eliminating all enemies during a Guild Strike Activity.
In Endgame, the Shadow Overlord functions as an elite Guild Strike boss for the second strike location.
Exotic Fabricator
Section titled “Exotic Fabricator”All three Guild Strike bosses spawn an Exotic Fabricator after they are defeated. The Fabricator allows you to upgrade a weapon to Exotic rarity or reroll traits on an Exotic weapon you already own.
For full details on how the Exotic Fabricator works, see Exotic Fabricator.
Nightmare Zone
Section titled “Nightmare Zone”Each Guild Strike activates a Nightmare Zone at its location. This zone remains for the duration of the match. It contains the strongest enemies, the highest Power rewards, and the Mega Abomination, which respawns after the boss is defeated.
For details on what the Nightmare Zone contains, see Nightmare Zones.
