Combat Rating
Combat Rating (CR) is the primary operator progression system in Endgame. It measures an operator’s power level and unlocks passive bonuses, skill tracks, and damage multipliers as it increases. Each operator maintains its own Combat Rating independently.
Zone recommendations
Section titled “Zone recommendations”Avalon is divided into five tiered zones. Higher zones have stronger enemies but greater rewards. The recommended CR for each zone reflects the minimum suggested for consistent survival.
| Zone | Recommended CR |
|---|---|
| Zone I | CR 0 |
| Zone II | CR 10 |
| Zone III | CR 30 |
| Zone IV | CR 45 |
| Nightmare / Zone V | CR 55 |
Players are dropped into the zone closest to their current CR at match start, but can travel freely to any zone at any time.
CR structure
Section titled “CR structure”The maximum Combat Rating is CR 66, built from four components:
- Base progression (CR 1-60)
- 48 levels distributed across three Skill Tracks, 9 levels from Core Power upgrades, and 3 Damage upgrade tiers.
- Skill Tracks (x3)
- Three tracks unlock during progression at CR 1, CR 6, and CR 16. Each track offers 16 upgrade levels split across 6 available skills. Tracks are chosen from a random pair at each unlock point.
- Exotic Skill track
- Adds up to 3 CR when fully upgraded. Obtained by completing a World Event. Only one Exotic Skill can be equipped at a time. See Exotic Skills.
- Nightmare Skill track
- Adds up to 3 CR when fully upgraded. Obtained by completing a Glitch Fracture. Only one Nightmare Skill can be equipped at a time. See Nightmare Skills.

Earning Power
Section titled “Earning Power”Power is the resource used to advance Combat Rating. It is earned by:
- Completing Activities
- Completing Assignments
- Completing World Events
- Eliminating enemies
All objective rewards scale in value based on the zone where they are completed. Higher zones yield more Power per objective.
Exfil and death
Section titled “Exfil and death”- Successful exfil - Combat Rating is preserved for your next match. Your current loadout, including any extracted weapons, is also saved.
- Death before exfil - Since Season 3, dying costs 15 CR and strips your equipped weapons, exotic skill, and nightmare skill progress. A Restore Token can prevent this loss entirely.
- Match timer expiry - Any operator still in the AO when the match timer runs out has health slowly drained to zero. All extraction points disable. CR is lost if the operator goes down this way.
Skill Track reset vs. operator wipe
Section titled “Skill Track reset vs. operator wipe”| Action | Effect on CR | Effect on Skills |
|---|---|---|
| Skill Track reset | Reduces CR by approximately 15-16 | Selected track returns to base, Power is refunded |
| Operator wipe | CR resets to 0 | All skill tracks, exotic skills, and nightmare skills are cleared |
A Skill Track reset is used to change which track upgrades are available. Resetting a Skill Track reduces CR by approximately 15-16. The CR is regained by completing activities. An operator wipe is a full reset and cannot be reversed.
