  2. Defeat a Guild Strike boss in the same match to reveal the Fracture on the Tac Map

The Virus Injection consists of 3 sectors, each containing 2 waves. The environments change between sectors: a Japanese temple, a city highway, and a destroyed airfield.

Wave 1: Destroy Power Cells (Japanese Temple)

Section titled “Wave 1: Destroy Power Cells (Japanese Temple)”

The first wave takes place in a Japanese garden and temple complex. Locate and destroy all marked power cells while fighting off enemies. An “Area Opened” message appears as new sections unlock.

Wave 1 Destroy Power Cells objective in the Japanese temple area

An HVT enemy spawns in the temple area. The objective changes to “Eliminate HVT Presence.” Once the HVT is eliminated, the first sector is complete.

Wave 2 Eliminate HVT Presence in the Japanese temple area

The second sector is a city highway. Escort an asset along the road while enemies attack from all sides. Stay close to the asset to keep it moving.

Wave 3 Escort the Asset objective on the city highway

A mech-type HVT appears with a shield dome. The mech projects a protective energy dome around itself. Break through the shield to deal damage.

Wave 4 mech HVT with shield dome in the city area

The third sector is a destroyed airfield under a red sky. Fight off waves of enemies on the runway. Multiple “Threat Incoming” waves must be cleared before the boss spawns.

Wave 5 Threat Incoming on the destroyed airfield

The Suala Rebu is the Glitch Boss of the Virus Injection. It fights on the airfield with several mechanics:

  • Incoming Strike: The boss calls in strikes on player positions. Move away from the marked areas.
  • Shield bubble: The Suala Rebu projects a protective shield around itself during strike phases.
  • Enemies continue spawning throughout the boss fight.
