Assault Rifles

Assault rifles are the most versatile weapon class in BO7 Endgame. They cover a wide damage range and rarity tier, handling everything from elite clearing to sustained boss DPS. Most ARs support four or more utility bonuses, and three of them, the AK-27, EGRT-17, and M15 Mod 0, have named exotic versions that lock in specific affinities and attachment loadouts.

Utility Bonus Availability

Combat Ready is available on every assault rifle. The MK35 ISR, Voyak KT-3, EGRT-17, and DS20 Mirage share the base pool of Free Fire, Recoil Delete, Ammo Recharger, and Combat Ready. The Maddox RFB, MXR-17, X9 Maverick, and AN-94 trade Free Fire for Reload Swap, while the M15 Mod 0 and Peacekeeper MK1 swap Recoil Delete for Reload Swap. Sharpshooter appears on the AK-27 and the VX Compact, which both run Free Fire, Recoil Delete, Combat Ready, and Sharpshooter. The FG42 is the only assault rifle with Ultra-light.

Named Exotics

Killswitch (AK-27) - Shrapnel Affinity

The Killswitch is the named exotic version of the AK-27, carrying the Shrapnel affinity. It is obtainable from Exotic Caches dropped by Falkner and Mega Abomination kills.

Torrent (M15 Mod 0) - Graviton Affinity

The Torrent is the named exotic version of the M15 Mod 0, carrying the Graviton affinity.

The Defrag is the named exotic version of the MK35 ISR, carrying the Mortar affinity. It was added in Season 4 Reloaded as a full-auto assault rifle augmented for extreme accuracy. No fixed attachment loadout has been confirmed from available data.
